It is the first operating system that Mac and Windows users are attracted to when they shift to a Linux-based environment. Linux Mint has been around us since 2006 and has grown and advanced into a user-centric OS.

Like other Linux distros, Linux Mint contains a plethora of open-source applications, alongside providing the ability to discover, download, and install other applications through its package manager utility. In addition, this OS offers Long-Term Support (LTS) releases valid for approximately 5 years.

Linux Mint is available for free, and almost everything hosted by it is open-source. It thrives to being a user-centric, easy-to-use, modern, and elegant OS that is both robust and configurable.
